Living in a small town in southern Michigan, and frequently traveling into Ohio, both states have reciprocity, open and concealed carry. For the last 2 years the summers have been quite warm and wearing a t-shirt and jeans with nowhere to carry concealed, open carry into stores, bank, gas station, etc. has not been a problem. Many LEO's have witnessed this mode of carrying and have been polite, and the mode of carry has never been questioned. There have been a number of patrons and employees, in many businesses, who have expressed their gratitude, directly, for the fact that law abiding citizens have the courage to carry daily, many citing the 2nd amendment. One can only hope that more of the citizens and LEO's will continue to accept the fact that most if not all CCW holders are guarding their behavior and decisions with the utmost scrutiny, to insure the innocent people in todays society will not be harmed. Picked up new CCW permit today..........Here's Hoping the next 5 years are as uneventful as the first 5.
