Obama wants a military that will fire on citizens?

My personal belief is that this could actually happen. Given all the new regulations that have been made, preparations for internment of civilians and actions by the government to somewhat militarize law enforcement agencies, this is entirely possible. If one would think back, several general officers have been sacked for various reasons. These officers were highly skilled combat veterans and are of the type that would probably refuse an order to fire on civilians. One Marine general was sacked but only found out through the news media. When the Joint Chiefs resort to tactics like that, something is definitely wrong in the military establishment. All of the subordinate officers would be too job scared not to enforce an order to fire on civilians. Wouldn't the founding fathers be proud?
