Non Resident CCL info

What does the state consider "property"? In order to get my non resident license, I must own property and I am not sure just what that means.

You must pay South Carolina Property Tax. If you own a second home or condo in South Carolina, you may apply for a S.C. Non-Resident Concealed Weapons Permit. To go with your application, there is an additional form that you take to the Tax Assessors office and he signs, certifying that you do pay S.C. Property Tax. Sorry but if you just rent you are out of luck.
