No Handguns at Fred's Foods Club

A sign in posted at the front of Fred's Foods in Greenville, NC that says, "Handguns are prohibited on these premises". I talked to the manager who said it was not store or corporate policy, but handed down from the actual owner. He knows it's costing him money because some choose to end patronage rather than obey the sign. Why do business with a store that wants you to park somewhere else other than their parking lot if you have a handgun? I guess that means on-duty and off-duty cops too!!!!!

Since their sign specifically prohibits handguns and excludes rifles and shotguns, I guess mass murderers with AK-47s are welcome at Fred's Foods ...
