NJ Carjacking-- Too Sad

This is why more people need to CCW, I wonder if his wife will purchase a firearm after this? He really should have let them take the car and saved his own life. Had he been carrying he could have opened fire on then by drawing his weapon as he unbuckled his seat belt or stepped out and fired as they got in.

With his .32 ACP or the more powerful .380 ACP?

I think in the state of N.J. when you apply for ccw you need to state a reason for carry. I would bet under the political climate of Christopher the donut eater Christy, that would probably deny the wife's permit request.

christie has nothing to do with it, NJ has issued virtually no concealed carry permits for decades, this is nothing new. NJ should be classified as a right denied state despite laws being on the books that allow for conceal carry permits.

Rule 1 for any gun fight is... have a gun... Rule 2 is to have the most powerful gun you can control....

I've always been told that if you can't obey Rule 2, refer to Rule 1: have a gun... A .32 or a .380 fits the criteria for having a gun .....

Unfortunately having a gun away from your own home is difficult in the Union of Soviet Socialist New Jersey. Proper ammunition and magazine capacity can also be a problem, at least for law-abiding folk....

I don't understand why people don't abandon New Jersey and head for Free America...

As we can see disallowing CCW permits harms law-abiding people and benefits criminals. Why can't the anti-gunners understand this. My father always said the difference between a thug-hugging liberal and a deliberate man is "one good mugging."
.
When I was a kid my dad and his friends owned a bar. They didn't work there, they had people run it. The bartender was this bleeding heart liberal. One night in 1972 two black guys robbed him at gunpoint. After that the regulars kept playing the song "Everybody's Beautiful" on the juke box, laughing at him. :haha: No more liberal, he changed fast.

Don't tell me he has nothing to do with it. Leadership means fighting tyranny, and I've seen very little leadership from Christy when it comes to gun rights. You can fight to kill Hitler, but what good does it do if his policies are continued after he's gone???

???

Sorry if I imply anger but, WTF kind of question is that? Maybe he could have been carrying a .50 CAL Desert Eagle!

confused…

You are new here so I'll let it slide this time.
The comment I made was for Clunz, not you.
He will understand (as will others) what I was implying with my post.

My reply to you is also above.
Clunz likes to "brag" about his .32 + .380.
He thinks that they are pretty much all you would need to carry.
I and some others, disagree with him and I like to tease him about it.
So y'all can relax.

According to the government, one should never resist when a crime is being committed against them (and even some other members here). The government will say that is what went wrong in this case, the victim resisted. The government will tell us that if the victim had not resisted, he would still be alive today.

my friend, you have no idea about NJ politics, I am not going to school you and I am not exactly a fan of gov. crispy creme, however laying blame on him for the poor state of affairs of nj gun rights is just not fair.

CharlesMorrison,

Understood. As is often the case, "inside" jokes are misunderstood or misinterpreted by us noobs! I wish there was a way to have a standard way of indicating sarcasm within forums!

My apologies!

"I don't understand why people don't abandon New Jersey and head for Free America..." Be wary of what you ask for, many of them have come to Delaware, and are trying to make De. like N.J.

there used to be a sign on I78 right after you entered PA from NJ, it said "Welcome to PA, America begins here" I guess when PA got a libturd governor the libturds in NJ got PA to remove it

Bad news, there is no free America.
