New Hampshire Non Resident

Quick question.

I'm sending off for my non resident New Hampshire permit. Will they accept a personal check for the $100, or do I need to send money order, cashier's check, etc?

SC, where I reside, will not accept personal checks.

Not many government agencies accept check any more. To be on the safe side, I would purchase a money order or cashiers check. (they are usually around $1 for the peace of mind)

Really, they couldn't care less if you sent a personal check or not.

Yes, made out to the State of NH-Treasurer. Make sure you include a copy of your SC Carry permit front and back. They will only issue non-resident permits to people that already have a carry permit from another state.

Yep...says on page 2 of app "Makes checks payable to..."

Personally, I always use a money order...some states take a while to deposit checks.
