First of all go to RimfireCentral.com - Rimfire Community! for all the info on Ruger pistols and rifles. The only mod you need is to install a Sams bushing and a Vol sear and that will reduce the trigger pull and make it easier for the mag to drop out and to tear down the pistol. With Sams bushing the mag drops right out like a 1911. You Tube will have vids on how to work on the pistol and it can be a real bit#ch the first few times.The 22 45 is a nice shooting pistol even off the bench. I have a 22 45 6 7/8 flutted SS which isnt made anymore and its not going anywhere for a long time. Put a red dot on it and go shoot steel all day long. 1 Ruger MKIII will never be enough so get ready to buy another one, she will want her own.
