Nevada clarification

Hello everyone! Nevada recently stopped honoring NC’s concealed carry permit. My understanding is that open carry is legal in NV, and the only thing I can’t do is have a concealed handgun on my person. It seems like concealed in the car is okay.
Can anyone confirm or clarify this?
