Medical Marijuana in FL. Thoughts?

Ran across this recently.

Charlie Crist's boss, John Morgan, to lead medical marijuana initiative in Florida | Tampa Bay Times

I don't smoke, but I do support this. What does everybody here think?

It's a start, but in my opinion, it doesn't go far enough. Let anyone who is spending their own money on it use it recreationally. The use of marijuana, whether recreational or medicinal, harms no one and the fact that the mere possession if it is an arrestable offense defies all logic.

I think charlie crist is a POS, the guy he works for (morgan) is a shyster lawyer and the medical angle is BS, if you want to legalize it fine but don't insult my intelligence with this medical dodge

Have you ever used marijuana medicinally? If not, how would you know whether or not it has any medicinal value? I feel that if the people using it believe it helps, then who am I, a non user, to tell them otherwise?
