Looking to learn near north metro

I'm pretty new to the handgun world & I'm looking to learn! I have experience with long firearms, but I've only used handguns on a few occasions. I am 'interested in obtaining a concealed carry permit, but more than anything I'm looking for someone who's willing to help me learn. I know I could take some courses at my local range, but I'm not totally sure that's the way I want to go. Do you guys have any suggestions?

You may not want too but if I were you I would start at a gun range. Oakdale has starter courses and some of them are free. That way you could get an idea of who's who and go from there.
Bill's is in the North Metro and should have classes although it may cost more.
