Live in AZ going to NV...Can I Conceal Carry?

So I Live in AZ, I have the legal right to Conceal Carry without a CCW permit. What is the laws for going to NV and carrying? Does NV accept my right in AZ to CC?

Nevada does recognize the constitutional right to carry. They only infringe upon your choice to conceal your gun without a recognized permit. Open carry is legal in Nevada with no permit required, the permit is only required to conceal it. To the OP - don't forget it is against Federal law for you to carry a loaded gun within 1000 feet of the premises of a school without a permit issued by the same state the school (and you) are physically located in at the time.

Not sure where in nevada you are going but I have never seen someone open carry in las Vegas. Nevada is an OC state but in the city you'd just be begging for harassment. As far as concealment, no Nevada doesn't recognize your right to carry. Only permits they recognize or you can apply for an out of state permit since you're a border state

As of July 1, 2012 Nevada will honor a AZ permit. That doesn't mean you are permitted to carry in NV without a permit even though you don't need one in AZ. You haven't met similar requirements of Nevada's if you don't have an AZ permit so you will not be allowed to carry in NV concealed without one.

It is not illegal to carry openly in NV. IMHO it isn't worth the hassle you WILL be asked to leave casinos and other places of business and in a world of hurt if you don't. Try it on the strip and you may be eating a lot of sidewalk while Metro checks you for something to arrest you for. You won't find it in any law book but the reality here is Welcome to Nevada, leave money and don't upset any body else that is leaving money.

Yep, no Constitutional Carry here in the Silver state. If you want to Open carry and are worried about it, check out Nevadashooters . com and ask away. Most of them live in the Vegas area and are very knowledgeable about the open carry laws, what Casinos do\do not allow, so on and so forth.
