Kimber Why make something more difficult??

Please tell me why Kimber designed the paper clip take down vs. the super simple barrel bushing??
Is there ANY ADVANTAGE to the paper clip design?It surely is more aggravating!!
If we find ourselves in a conflict with a Kimber and have a problem but forgot the paper clip our ass is grass??
Someone please explain!!
