Kinda reminds me of a joint promotion that a local jeweler here did with the best sporting goods store in the same town about 3 months ago. Buy any $1000 piece of jewelery and get a certificate good for a new hunting rifle, or to be applied toward anything else in the sporting goods store. The stores were "D Geller and Son" and "Adventure Outdoors." Sounded like a win-win to me.
