The US military is currently capable of conducting a joint forcible entry anywhere in the world to have a battalion+ sized element on the ground within 24 hours. They can have functional brigades there in 2-3 days, and be conducting divisional level maneuver, support, and sustainment ops within a week.

If President Obama was going to use our military to take over the country it would happen overnight, not as a result of a long, drawn-out, comparatively transparent, and publicly known training event.

I keep listening and checking the sky for a group of Blackhawks or Comanches or at least a Cobra escorting a Chinook. Hoping for a good picture. So far, nothing. I guess they don't need to take over big cities that are already dominated by Democrat mayors. They figure we'll probably welcome a military takeover.
