Is private practice considered a hospital in NV?

So the other day I was at my doctors and I had my Glock on me. I didn't even think about it until afterwards. But I was CC so no one noticed. Now is this illegal? Is it only the local hospitals count or all doctors offices?

Hello John23,
No it is not illegal. You can also carry in hospitals.
There are only the following restriction in Nevada;
1. Government facilities (local, state and federal) this includes parking lots and places like libraries.
2. Schools
3. Indian land

Even if there is a No Firearms sign posted, it is not s firearms violation to ignore it. It becomes a trespassing issue if you refiuse to leave if asked.
Yes you can carry in casinos, bars and restaurants as long as your blood alcohol is below 0.10%. (yes that is too drunk to drive)

The joys of living Nevada....

The only hospital I've been told it is actually illegal is UMC because it is a teaching hospital and therefore considered an extension of the college campus.

Update information....

BA is now 0.08% not 0.10%, most bars still say you cannot, only seen one bar that has a sign that states must check your firearm with the bartender and one casino in Las Vegas that does not allow ANY weapon and it is posted - Main Street Casino, yes I do laugh at that sign because it states, no firearm, no knife, no weapon...so if you're trained in martial arts or former military guess the "no weapon" applies to us. LOL If in doubt, ask, years ago El Cortez Casino, I checked with security and they checked in my weapon, upon my leaving they gave me a Breathalyzer to see what my BA was, I asked and they stated if I was not legal to drive they would have comp me a room, they did have in their possession my weapon and car keys... I thought that was cool.
