Illinois CCW LiveScan Fingerprinting

Hello Illinois Instructors. Does anybody know if Live Scan, the accepted fingerprinting system for the State of Illinois, can be done outside of the state? Here in NY we use Morpho, which is also digital. The ISP website only lists Illinois vendors... Was wondering if anyone had broached this topic and has received clarification on this before. Thanks!

I was talking to the fingerprint folks when I had mine done. It turns out that they produce the most popular e-print software and systems.
According to that guy, they were working on a deal with FL and a couple other states to permit doing out-of-state (to IL) scans.

As of a few months ago, the e-scans had to be done in IL, no exceptions.
