The fact the guy walked out of the store bothers me... they shoulda hit him twice.
"Continue hitting the subject over the head with the metal chair until the threat has been stopped." LOL!
Here's another.... Dude is lucky the perp is just some stupid punk that never practices.
SEATTLE -- A man in Seattle's Central District managed to fend off three muggers after threatening them with a hammer, say Seattle police.
The man said he was walking near 27th Avenue East and East Marion Street around 10 p.m. Friday. He passed a group of men standing at the corner; when he walked by, he said three of the men began following him.
The victim said when he turned around to talk to the suspects, one of them took out a handgun and demanded he hand over his bag. That's when the victim reached into his bag and took out a hammer, holding it high in an effort to intimidate the suspects.
According to the victim, when the suspects repeated their demand, he charged toward them.
One of the suspects fired the gun, but the victim was not struck by any bullets. The suspects then fled north on 27th Avenue East.
The victim ran a few blocks and called 9-1-1. Responding officers searched the area, but they didn't find the suspects.
The suspects were described as three black males in their early 20s. One suspect was 6'0", about 140-150 pounds and wore a black hooded winter coat and khaki pants. He was armed with a gun. The second suspect was about 5'8", 150 pounds and wore a black coat and black pants. No description was given for the third suspect.
Moral of the story, a good hammer is much easier to conceal than a folding chair...
