How many bullets can you have in your gun?

In a state that seemingly seeks to regulate every aspect of its residents' lives, New Yorkers are left wondering today about that very question. How many bullets are legal, and how many bullets put you in jail? :

I live in AZ and there is no limit on number of rounds that a firearm is allowed. When I do carry I have a full mag and maybe 1 or 2 extra mags depending on what I'm going to be doing when I go out.

Here in Kentucky there is no limit as well, I generally pack an extra mag or two.

My regular EDC has 15 rounds +1 in the chamber. Most of the time, I carry two additional 15 round mags, for a total of 46 rounds. If I need more, the pistol should get me to my carbine, a PS90 that has a 50 round magazine and I have more magazines at the ready for it as well. I do not say this to brag, because I'm sure there are some on here who have 100 round mags, and so forth. I say this, because this is what I chose to feel safe. To have any governmental leader tell me that I MUST have less is an abomination of my right to LIFE, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness. Mostly, the first two.

PA understands that no government official has any clue how many rounds I might need to protect myself or my loved ones from any tyrannical act by any person or entity. The patriots in NY, with all their money and all their businesses should leave, and try to cripple the economy of that socialist state. Maybe, just maybe some of the representative leaders will get it. If not, then that will be the final nail in the coffin of freedom for NY.

So far I don't see anything in NY law that limits the TOTAL number of rounds you can carry on your person as long as you don't exceed the mag capacity limit. In other words, it looks like you can carry as many mags as you want or as many extra rounds as you want, just make sure that you don't put more than 10 (or is it seven this week?) rounds in any of the mags you are carrying. Anyone else see anything different?

Unless I'm mistaken, NY has a 10 round limit in a mag, but, there is no limit as to how many mags you can carry. Here in DE. we aren't limited yet, but they are trying to get it down to 10 rounds per mag. My pistol has a 17+1 round mag capacity. I have 1 extra that holds 17, plus I have 2/ 10 round mags, in case they make the change. If I carry them all I will have 55 rounds available. But getting back to reality, I usually carry 1 extra 17 rounder in a mag holder on my belt. But, that's still 35 rounds. I know several guys that carry 2 extra mags.

That crap that these NY Judges, DA's and people in power come up with is nothing short of scary. I come from a kinda screwed up state (MA) but it's not half as far gone as NY. I know it's not easy moving out of a state and leaving your old life behind, but HOW THE HELL does anybody live their, gun crap aside.
