Hog hunting in Arkansas

I am from NW Arkansas and i am looking at getting in to Wild Hog Hunting and was looking for advise on Hog Hunting and was wondering what most people use gun wise to Hog Hunt. Thnaks!

Bigger is better. A few years ago, dropped one with a 30.06 165 gr. (hit in front shoulder while it was running towards) it got back up and continued forward.......second shot into side of nasal and stopped it cold.
