Here is what I did to get ready for Deer Season today.

Our Firearms season starts next Saturday at dawn.
So, to get ready so I can fill my tags, I took advantage of unseasonably warm weather (70 degrees) and I put up the Christmas Lights. Gotta make the wife happy too. Just some friendly advice to you youngins out there.

Same here, what a coincidence. Put up the outside lights while the weather was good (won't turn them on for a while though). Finished cleaning all the leaves in the yard, did a few of the honey-do list items as well.
Our season starts on this week also, heading up to join my son on Thursday night and head out Friday for a day in the woods with him. A deer with be good, a day with my son will be great.

Our opener is this Saturday (17th,) haven't bought my tags yet. But today I fed the turtles, brought home a kitten and shot some textbooks. Had a great day.
