Help with Enfield .303

I have recently acquire an England No:4 MKI F(FTR) with KC20273 on bolt, barrel and mag. it also ha No4MKI ROF(F) 12/43 marking.
In my internet search I have seen info regarding the meansing of the Letters preceeding the serial number however non of the info I read discussed KC.

I am no expert but after looking at your pictures I would bet that "KC20273" is a number added by the importer in order to give the gun a unique serial number to make it legal to sell in the U.S.

+1 Most are now laser etched and look neater than one done with an handheld electric engraver.

OK found new info
(F) FTR =Factory Thorough Repair
ROF(F) = Royal Ordinance Factory Fazakerlev and I had assumed the manufactor date was 12/43.
