Florida CCW going to Nevada

Hey everyone,
I know my FL CCW is no good in NV, however I have to go there for work in a few weeks. My job puts me in places that I want my gun close by. That being said here are my questions:
Is open carry common enough in NV that I can carry openly without being stopped and asked questions all the time?
Are there any restrictions to where you can open carry other than the federal restrictions of courthouses ect?
Is there any fast way to get a CCW permit for NV?

Thanks for the help, this is the first state my FL CCW permit is not honored and I'm not looking forward to not carrying.

When I lived in Vegas I don't remember seeing anyone open carrying but as far as I know it is legal. Clark County also has a blue card pistol registration requirement but pretty sure that doesn't apply to visitors up to 60 days.

I live in Henderson, Nv. Henderson, like Vegas, is in Clark County where a "blue card" registration is required.

My advice...

Do not Open-Carry in Boulder City or North Las Vegas...period. You're asking for trouble.

OC is allowed in Nevada, but I've only seen maybe three people doing it in the Las Vegas area. When you get out in the desert it's not uncommon at all, but you're sure to draw the attention of every LEO if you strap one on in the populated areas.

Do not OC on the Vegas strip.

Regarding CCW, don't do it without a Nevada permit.

If you want to shoot in the area, visit the Boulder City Rifle & Pistol Club's range. It's open for "public shooting" on Tue, Thur, Sat and Sunday. Fee is $10. Bring your own targets and ammo, as the club doesn't have a retail store on-site. Of course, hearing and sight protection are required.

Thanks for all the input.

Sadly I will be in Vagas for 2 weeks. Sounds like OC and CC are both out of the question.

It will be a long uncomfortable 2 weeks.

Check out opencarry.org Lots of people OC in Vegas just some casinos don't allow it North Las Vegas and Boulder City have laws that say you can"t OC but they aren't enforced because State Law preempts it (think I said that right)
