I'm 18 years old and I'm about to apply for my FID withing the next week or 2. I was looking online on a few sites, just to get an idea of how much I could be spending on guns, ammo, targets, etc. I am a little confused as to what exactly I can and cannot buy. I know basically, I can buy rifles (10 rounds or less) and shotguns (5 rounds or less), but cannot buy handguns until I get an LTC.
I'm more interested in getting a rifle. I was told that I could only buy .22 rifles with an FID, so I checked the approved firearms roster. It looks like that list is mostly (if not only) handguns. I'm not sure if I can buy ANY .22 rifle or if it has to be a Massachusetts approved rifle. Helpppp?? :blink::sad::wacko:
