Yep, that's the dilemma. I don't think it's Sprouts as a whole; I'd never seen a sign before, nor have I at any other branch. I'm thinking when I'm less irritated I'll find where I should be complaining, because while the food is great, I'm not shopping somewhere with a "Welcome criminals!" sign.
I must commend you for saying that you would wait until you were less irritated before complaining about their policy, which you say is at only that particular branch. Complaining during a fit of temper is never a good idea and could cause the proprietor to become even more adamant about the policy. By quietly explaining your stance, you might remind him/her that the policy could cause a loss of customers and revenue. The thought of money will sometimes override their trivial objections to firearms. If that doesn't work he will lose your patronage and that of your friends who are of like mind. Don't give up, just fight in a way that will get their undivided attention.
