A few years ago I got a ticket for a barking dog. I went to court and lost. When I appealed, my attorney went to the court and got it placed on something called a dead docket. I read an article in the paper a few weeks ago and he had gotten a ticket for littering because something blew out of the back of his truck. He decided to fight it and it was going to be dead docketed but he wanted it dismissed because he said that it would prevent him from getting a conceal-carry permit. Just wondering if anyone knows if that is true in Georgia.
