Desantis Inside Heat for summer carry?

Has anyone had experience with the Inside Heat from Desantis? I currently have an IWB from Alien gear and wonder if this will be a good choice for warmer climates as the Alien is a bit toasty or am I wasting my time ?

Looking at the holster online, it's made of leather. How can that be cooler than the Alien Gear?

Stealthgear makes a ventilated mesh IWB holster, but it runs around $100.00.

My thoughts were the smaller the cooler.
