Can I use a class that I took in Utah to get a permit in Texas?

It says I need a course but it does not say anything else. At least what I saw.

GC §411.188. HANDGUN PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT. .........(g) A person who wishes to obtain a license to carry a concealed handgun must
apply in person to a qualified handgun instructor to take the appropriate course
in handgun proficiency and demonstrate handgun proficiency as required by the
department.

Most states work that way for resident permits.

You will not learn Texas CHL laws in a Utah class, and that is the whole point of taking the class in the first place.
