I recently posted a thread on this, actually about 2 weeks ago, glad to see its finally going somewhere. Cant wait for this thing to pass, makes things easier, and makes more sense, criminals dont abide by the law, nor do they care what the signs say. Glad all I have to do is take an extra 9 hour class and fire an extra 100 rounds to carry in Pistol Free Zones.

My guess is that since they can't take the extended training, they will not be allowed to carry in pistol free zones.

Looks like the exemption is an amendment on the MI permit.

It really does nothing to help them and actually hurts them as this bill makes it illegal to open carry in a PFZ.
