Cerakote or Duracoat?

Spooking to have my AR professionally Cerakoted or Duracoated? I have heard great things from Cerakote, but I've also heard the downfalls of either if not done properly? Suggestions?

The duracote can be awful is not either baked or let set for 30 days. If that is done, I like it better than Cerakote. The Duracoat seems to have more of a self lubricating finish.

Both are great with proper application. I have several of both and lean toward the Duracoat.

I've had good results with doing a simple Krylon paint job... but, I know it's not up to Duracoat and Cerakote...

I did my Yugo M70 AB2 with a $6 can of Dupli-color 500 engine enamel. Applied correctly, cured correctly and then baked, it has proven an excellent, durable finish.

On the other hand, I sent my Kel-tec PF-9 slide to CCR Refinishing for a Cera-hide ceramic finish over 4 years ago and it has held up flawlessly.
