Buffalo Wild Wings Posting "No Guns" signs

They say they respect the right of individuals to carry firearms - JUST NOT ON THEIR PROPERTY - even with a permit.

It appears that BWW Corporate office has left the decision to post/not post up to individual franchise owners.

The Sunday, Feb 3 2013 edition of the Morgantown Dominion Post newspaper quoted a manager at the High Street location as saying that the posting would affect other locations in West Virginia operated by the same franchise owner.

Please keep your eyes out for posted locations.

May/will apply to locations in other states - travelers be aware of "signs have the force of law" states!

I sent an email to corp, and received this response:

Buffalo Wild Wings respects the right of individuals to carry firearms. One of our top priorities is the comfort, safety and enjoyment of our Guests and we have elected to exercise our right to prohibit the carrying of firearms in our company-owned restaurants. We regret any inconvenience this may cause but believe that this position is in the best interest of our Guests and our Team Members. This position may vary in independently owned franchised locations.
