I'm a teacher and have seen scores of school board members come and go. I can count on one hand only the ones that I had any respect for. It seems that each one wants to get elected so they can impose their own agenda. I even have seen people get on the school board to make graduation requirement changes so their son/daughter wouldn't have to take certain classes to graduate. It's truly disgusting.
