Arkansas CCL return time?

Thanks BMACK. My wife had her license issued last week. That's after FBI first rejected hers. Mine were accepted but I am still waiting to be issued. I am still in "Pending Background Check" purgatory.

I feel your frustration! But remember we are dealing with one more government bureaucracy. I want to believe that they are truly working as hard and as fast as they can. One would think that by now they have implemented ways to be more efficient however....(refer to my first statement). It is indeed angering and frustrating at inefficiency. However, also remember part of this is due to people freaking out thinking the government is coming to take all of our guns, put us in Camps, etc. and those feeding that thought process have caused people to panic, so just as people are hoarding ammo, buying it off the shelves, building bunkers, etc., people who might not have ordinarily thought of a CHCL are now flooding departments all over the country. The ones feeding this frenzy are the ones we should be angry with....just sayin....

It changed to pending internal review then pending printing and finally license issued

Amie today is day 92 for me and still pending background check. My wife received her license in 85 days. Absolutely no end in sight.

Yeah, I remember that you were a little ahead of me, Runner. I am at 77 days as of today and still says pending a background check or turn in my paper work , which they received on march 6th or 13th, which would made 70 days

There's a point I discovered during my application period that explains much of the incongruities. The whole "processing unit" in Little Rock consists of 2 of the proverbial "Little Old Ladies in tennis shoes". This came from my concealed carry instructor/tester. According to him, if there is a 'flow process' of any sort in place relating to order of processing, prioritization, or workload leveling it's esoteric enough to escape discovery.

Wow ARHORT, that's crazy. My wife received hers in 87 days. We sent paperwork in at the same time and she had to do another set of fingerprints because FBI rejected first set.
