Another GREAT day at the Range

Didn't bring everything but did bring the defensive handguns and the M1. Pistols bays were occupied but the 200 yrd high power range was ours. A fellow bolt action was already there but there was enough old targets at the 200 yrd for me to have fun with. He was shooting at the 100 yrd burm so no issues. Dammmmit, at 56 years old at 200 yrds open sights, me and my M1 performed to a tee. Who needs Viagra or Cialis when you're busting off rounds and hitting kill zones at 200 yrds.
After about 300 rounds went back down to the pistol bays. (Starting getting into my new factory loads, a bit expensive) Open bay, the wife and I tore it up for about an hour and a half, 45/357/38 special. Multiple scenarios, approaches, and weaponry. Gotta love my wife as she is dedicated to mastering self defense tactics. At 5'4 she shoots with the best of them.
Spent the afternoon cleaning them all. Dam, the smell of Hoppes and WD 40 is such a relaxing oder plus I really enjoy cleaning my weapons. Kind of like cooking, it relaxes me.
OFF to the local Thai restaurant for nourishment and possibly a cold adult beverage. Life truly is good. Sorry for the post but just elated by the day.
GOD bless all and continue to have a attitude of gratitude. We shall overcome this communist in the WH. (I've been praying for divine intervention for years now)

You and the Missus did have a wonderful afternoon, good for you! Dang....my wife wanted us to work in the yard and the garden all day today, wouldn't let me shoot a squirrel at all even though they are digging up our yard. Promised I would just use a BB gun but Noooooo. Hahahaha ...I'll get em when she goes to the grocery store tomorrow by golly.

I like squirrels! And I have no garden for them to dig up. Last year I went to a range class and a rabbit came over and lay down in the shade under one of our tables. He hung out and watched us shoot for an hour or so and then hopped away. Cute little guy.

Must go to the range...
