So I went into my local gunshop to buy an XD. He knows my gun buying habits & was surprised that I was interested in a XD. When I explained the problems with my hip without blinking an eye he said “Why don’t you get the Kimber CDP?”
“Show me” Says I, unfortunately he didn’t have one in stock but did have an Aegis in 9mm for me to paw. Turns out it is a full 6oz lighter than an XD & chambered in 45ACP with fewer rounds it will be much lighter than the XD.
I had me order a CDP right then & there but I keep thinking about that Aegis but that is another story…
My questions is… I have never owned an aluminum framed pistol & wonder how well it will hold up? This will be my new primary carry piece & I tend to shoot allot so I am concerned about the pistols longevity.
