Howdy,
Saturday is the start of muzzleloading deer season so I had to breakout my gun, clean it, and check the zero of the scope. It's on the mark at 100 yards.
Everything was good so I decided to see how a new bullet would work on a water jug. Here's a link to a YouTube video.

The gun is a CVA Optima S/S break action w/ 26" barrel. I use 125grs of Hogden 777 powder, a Powerbelt Aero 250gr bullet and a Win "777" 209'primer.
The jug was 40 yards away.
I've killed several bucks with the Powerbelt 295gr bullets before but I've never killed anything with the 250gr Aero bullet. I can shoot out to about 175 yards from my stand so I decided to switch to the 250gr Aero bullet because it has better ballistics and will shoot a little flatter.
If I'ld been thinking I would have posted a pic of the new bullet vs the old bullet for comparison.
