I wonder about this finish because i dont know if its the same as blued? Also another think i would like to know is when cleaning it is it ok to get oil (rem oil i.e.) or solvent hopps 9 on it without damaging it?

Currently I own the Sig p238 .380 (9mm short) do I really need the Sig p290 9mm? Many people will say yes because 9mm has a bit more power than it's smaller .380 but for the real difference between the two is there really a need to get the 290? What are your thoughts and why?

I carry my p238 not cocked and locked what I do is rack one in the chamber , load the magazine to full capacity then drop the hammer keeping it on fire not safety, if EVER I need to use it it's just as easy to cock the hammer manually then drop the safety without the fear of accidental fireing...
