[Question] Weapons 'prohibited' at work but no sign posted, CCW allowed? (WI)

Never, during my military career was there ever any authorization for CCW or open carry on post. For those living in government family quarters, we were allowed to keep our private weapons there however, the weapons had to be registered in our unit arms room. I have been retired for over 46...

[Question] Weapons 'prohibited' at work but no sign posted, CCW allowed? (WI)

G: You must have one of those CCW badges imprinted in your mind. Does "psychosis" ring a bell with you? Could it be that you had a trauma in your life associated with a badge, or an unobtainable wish to be a law enforcement officer?

[Question] Weapons 'prohibited' at work but no sign posted, CCW allowed? (WI)

It is incumbent upon you, as an employee, to abide by your company's policies. How was the "No Weapons Policy" articulated to you, orally during in-processing, or in written policy handbook? In whatever manner, you are aware of the policy so the onus is on you to decide what is more important to...

    Happy 1911 Day!

G: There you go again, making a presumption with no evidence to back it up. The pictures show my rationale for not trusting trigger safeties, not an example of an injury to myself. Reflect for a while on the pictures and tell me you feel safe with a safety trigger.

    Happy 1911 Day!

G: This is why I won't carry a round in the chamber of any pistol with a trigger safety!

    Happy 1911 Day!

G: I'm glad to see that you have such high regard for the Glock. I also own a Glock but I am also aware of the possibility of the trigger safety being accidentally tripped and the weapon firing unintentionally. That is also why I do not carry it with a round in the chamber. Although I have a...

G: Sorry old son, I'm not mad at you for anything. I have always been an advocate for the same things but I have always had a carry permit in order to remain within the current law.

G: I'm not trying to have a running gun battle with you but you need to realize that there are many forums on here, just as this one. I like the Politics and News Forum but do visit many of the other forums. I am a gun owner (several) and thoroughly enjoy the information to be garnered here. If...

    No more nose dive

Yes, they would work much better on a Glock than on a 1911.

CCW Permit Badge and Holder R They Legal?

I do believe G50AE has been resurrected and still wanting CCW badges approved for everyone. Still called impersonating an officer and, if caught with all your armament, you automatically become a terrorist. Get a good lawyer. Link Removed

Here we go again with the traffic stop....thanks Luke!

    Apendix Carry with J Frame

Yep, I'm aware of the various carries but, as I said, this wound was attributed to a bad holster AND, had it been appendix carry at the same angle, the results would have been disastrous. This is why I like hip and/or shoulder holsters. Few more pictures: Link Removed Link Removed Link...

    Apendix Carry with J Frame

Link Removed This wound was attributed to a bad holster. Had his weapon been in an appendix carry, at the same angle, he would have lost all of his male equipment. Not worth it to me!
