Thank you. Yes I agree. In my 25 year career I had the honor of carrying the caskets of 2 very close friends who were killed in the line of duty. The first was shot by a parolee who was preparing to rob a fast food rest. and a year later one was run down by an attorney's juvenile sone who had stolen his fathers car, and drove down into a ditch to hit the officer and drage his body some 75 feet.
It took everything I had to attend the funerals of my parents when they died.

I noticed your signature Avatar of fallen officers. I have pins from the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C. I have them on my hats. Nice to see some others in memoriam, Although it is a shame we have need for any pins or ribbons. It is not enough.
