Oh boy this thread, I have never used a laser outside of being in the military. I however would like to have a light/laser combo on my nightstand gun. I don't feel that a laser would give me anything more in the defense area and would consider it more of a novelty item for those pesky zombies.

I have a light on HD (bedside) handgun. The hot spot of the beam it puts out is where the round will go (tested at the range).

No worry about muzzle flash temporarily blinding me, and I can clearly identify the target, and aim center mass.

I have ctc lasergrips on all of my defense firearms. After training with and without I have no problem in saying I would never never be otherwise equipped.

Handgun lasers will get you killed.

One night, some mercs came for me in my home. They cut the power then entered. Though I couldn't see, their lasers gave away their position. It was as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
