Arkansas concealed carry license

I really wouldn't look for it anytime soon it has been 102 there workload has double since the weekend od March 30, 2013
 
Okay. Saturday made 120 days for me so technically I am at 122 days today. I called the police and they have no idea why mine has not gone through yet so they went ahead and did the state check ( I passed ) and the lady that does the federal check comes in tomorrow so hopefully by the end of the week, I will have my license in hand. She did tell me that she would call me and let me know when my federal was completed.
 
Today makes 112 days for me and........

Your application status is:

Pending License Printing - Your Concealed Handgun Carry License application has been approved by the Arkansas State Police.

You should receive your license in the mail within the next two weeks.

First time I've heard them tell anyone that. Hope it works for you.

Glad to hear they were helpful when you called. Now I wont be afraid to call them if I go over 120 days, Thanks for the update.
 
Tomorrow will be 105 days the ASP

Pending Background Check Results - Your training certificate and fingerprint card have been received.
Your application is pending the results of your background check.
 
The wait will be worth it, in the long run. As hard as that is to hear, it is true.

it's 105 day it say's

Well, I called on Monday. They stated that they would do my state background check and I passed but then when I called Tuesday about the federal ( the lady that does that was out on Monday) I was told I needed to send in a new set of prints. I went to Searcy today and had them done and I mailed them in fifteen minutes ago. So she said to expect 2-3 weeks before hearing back from them. I am on day 124

everyone that I have heard this happen to is to go directly to ASP and let them do digital fingerprints

O ya. The time seems to be getting shorter. Fingers crossed
 
Whoo hoo....the wait is finally over....well almost. Now I just have to get the physical card in my hands:

CONGRATS! On your new life as a concealed carry license holder.

As a CHCL holder a little advice. Read everything you can about the AR Gun Laws. Train, train and then train some more!

May you never have to draw your weapon in self defence.
