Time really drags when you're waiting. I know the feeling. It'll happen, just takes awhile.

Come Aug 15th you won't need the permit anyway. Read HB 1700 Constitutional Carry will be in effect. Google it and you'll understand.

98 days to get approved. Will probably have it in mailbox in two days if it goes the same as my wife's did. Finally as Phil would say, I am Happy, Happy, Happy.

All I can do is wait and see. I've herd that everything is slowing down and there catching up

I tried posted this earlier today but it didn't post. MY status changed this morning. It now says

Pending Background Check Results - Your training certificate and fingerprint card have been received.

Your application is pending the results of your background check.


I began to yell, yes yes yes! You would had thought I won the lottery... Runner how long did it take for you status to go from what mine is to what yours is now?

At day 45 it changed to pending background check today is day 98. So that would be another 53 days.

Runner, you might want to go take another class and send in some more finger print cards for your renewal at the speed there going lol but congrats on getting it

Good luck Runner! In a couple of months you can wear your sidearm Open Carry, if you wish too. Keep your powder dry.
