The only problem with this is what if YOUR book ( that has so so many flaws in it already to have been shown ) is wrong? What if the Jews are right? Maybe the muslims are correct? Maybe us realists are correct? What if any of the hundreds of thousands of "religions" out there are the real one?
What is it that a "realist" believes to be correct? Where are the flaws that you say have been shown? Out of the hundreds of thousands of religions you speak of , which one can you present containing 100's of prophecies written 1000's of years in advance that have all come true 100% and are yet being fulfilled this day in our daily current events besides the Bible? (this thread #234) Every religion is a real religion, however there is only one truth. One second after we're dead, we will know which one was the true word of God, it's that simple. All religions have one thing in common, they all attempt to get to God man's way. Christianity is getting to God, God's way, FAITH in the shed blood of Jesus Christ only. And, it's not MY book, it's God's book.
People don't reject the Bible because the Bible contradicts itself, people reject the Bible because the Bible contradicts them.
A realist is a person who believes in REALITY. Flaws how about 666? You do know the oldest text of the bible says the # is 616 right. Next let us look at what is at the front of almost every church the big WHITE guy on a cross. First Jesus was not white! Second the Romans did not drive nails through ( spikes ) through the hand they woudl rip through the nails where driven through the two bones of the forearm. Last the feet where not crossed and one nail driven through both the nail was driven through each ankle and into the side of the cross. Given the complete lack of correct information just on this one thing your really going to try to tell me that the the modern bible that was translated from Hebrew ( something still not able to be done without interpretation due the the differences in the languages) then the editing by man over and over again leaving things out and putting things in? What about all the books the Vatican left out? If they are all from god why leave some out? How about three wise men in every nativity scene but they are NOT in the bible are they! Jonah and the Whale? There was no whale was there! So please let me know how many more mistakes I can point out to you I have LOTS more. I woudl bet you think Adam and Eve got booted from Edan for eating the apple to don't you? Fyi I took several years of theology and have actually read almost every version of a holly book out there.

First, Israel is God's Prophetic Timepiece, and if you were truly a realist and a theologian you would not be ignorant of today's current events surrounding Israel as prophesied in The Book you claim to know so much about. Second, you should also be aware that the Bible doesn't say that Jonah was swallowed by a whale..Jonah 1:17.."But the Lord provided a "great fish" to swallow Jonah". Third, Genesis 2:17.."But you must not eat from the tree of the "knowledge of good & evil", no mention of any Apple. Genesis 3:2.."You must not eat "fruit" from the tree that is in the middle of the garden", once again no mention of any Apple. It's obvious that in your years of study of "almost' every "holly" version you claim to have read, you failed to include the" Holy" Bible.

Studding the beliefs of society has nothing to do with supporting any one view but about learning what and why people think and act the way they do.
My point is that if the bible is the word of god then the fact that the majority of folks do not know what it says is a statement on the whole issue. As for the books left out well they are to many to name and many we do not know the names of I will throw out the gospel of Mary anyway. I see you skipped over the most basic flaw and the one most easily seen. The statute of Jesus. He was not WHITE. He was not nailed though his palms OR with his feet crossed in front you simply can NOT hang a person from a cross this way they will simply slide off. Also according to historical finds those put on the cross where also tied. The issue with religion is faith. To many faith trumps reality and fact. Thus having any rational exchange is not possible. I note you also left out the number?
As I stated this is the reason facts do not matter as faith excuses all fats and reality. This is the same reason all cults exist. Faith can never be questioned no matter how easy it is to disprove in reality.
