Critical Defense is my choice for cool/cold weather carry. I know it performs better through layered clothing. It does not however, do all that well through barriers such as drywall, glass, or car doors etc...
Winchester PDX1 bonded fairs better in that respect so does Remington Golden Saber. Ranger T-series is another choice for carry in warm/hot weather...
Again, most of today's modern ammo is good for carry/home defense. Just have to make sure your gun will work with it..
