Out of state permit

Hey Everyone, I'm new here and live in Illinois. I have a Penn. permit that allows me to carry in Indiana but I just read I can get a out of state lifetime Indiana permit. I'm just accross the state line 25 miles or so in Champaign County and was wondering how would be the best way to go about getting a Indiana permit. I have relatives in Pittsboro and friends in Kingman so we're over there quite a bit. Thanks for any information.

IN only issues non-res permits to those who have a business or regularly employed in IN.

And Indiana won't issue non-residents the lifetime permit either.

(f) The superintendent may not issue a lifetime qualified license or a lifetime unlimited license to a person who is a resident of another state. The superintendent may issue a four (4) year qualified license or a four (4) year unlimited license to a person who is a resident of another state and who has a regular place of business or employment in Indiana as described in section 3(a)(3) of this chapter.
