I note that you are retired NYCPD. Did you ever encounter the Ithaca Stakeout shotgun/pistol? I understand they were developed for the NYCPD armed robbery stakeout teams during the 70s and proved quite effective. 13 inch bbl, 5 shot, pistol-grip-only, without a trigger disconnect. Hold down the trigger and it will fire every time you pump. 12 ga. or 20. Light, handy, short, maneuverable. I don't know your place of residence, but, if you're in Free America, perhaps you can own one. I live in NC and I have a 20 ga. Not exactly a plinker, but it is controllable with practice. Loud and requires both hands... $5 transfer tax under the National Firearms Act of 1934.
