Update on HB 4490

Good news so far fellow Michiganders... Might be a good time to let your epresentatives know how you feel on this!

Thank you to all who contacted me regarding HB 4490. I supported this legislation to eliminate safety inspections for pistol owners as it is an unnecessary and burdensome requirement.



This morning, HB 4490 and 4491 passed out of the Tourism and Outdoor Recreation Committee by a vote of 8 - 1. The bills will now be sent to the full House for consideration.
