To LEOs, Need Info

Are any of you familiar with a CO2 gun that is modified to shoot .68 cal pepper balls, glass breaker balls, etc.? I think it may be a modified paint gun of some sort. Our small local dept. is looking to purchase one, and I thought I'd try to find them one at a good price.
