States honored

The reciprocity map here shows Idaho accepting permits from all other state except Wisconsin and Illinois, which do not allow ccw at all. I was wondering about Alaska and Vermont, and recently Arizona. These states do not require a permit to ccw. Since they don't have one, are they not barred from cww while in Idaho? If so the map should be updated. If not is there an exemption for them in our statutes? I didn't see one.

This section seemed to apply:

I don't know about Alaska and Vermont, but from what I understand with Arizona, you can still apply for a CCW, as I think their "constitutional carry" still has limits on where you can carry without a CCW (I may be wrong, but that was the info I had as of a week ago)....I would think that in absence of some official permit from that state, that Idaho would not honor your ability to carry while here.

Alaska will issue a permit for those who want to CCW while traveling outside Alaska.
