Relocating from Dallas

Hi. Relocating from Dallas, TX to Kansas. I have a Texas Concealed Carry Permit. I know that Kansas and Texas have a reciprocity agreement. Do I need to get a Kansas permit or can I still use my Texas permit? How would I get a Kansas permit? Will Kansas honor the test I passed to get my Texas permit? Any help will be appreciated.

Technically, you do not need a permit to carry in Kansas, but you may need one if you travel to another state. Some require that you have one from your state of residence.
A good source of information is Handgunlaw.us
Click on any state on the map. The new page is a .pdf file that summarizes that state's gun laws, as well having pertinent links for that state.
