Anyone else watch the record jumps(3) by Travis Pastranna on an Indian V-twin last nite.
140 feet over 52 crushed cars
193 feet over 16 Greyhound buses
149 feet--jumped the fountains at the Caesar's Palace
The 1st 2 both longer and with more cars and buses than Knievel
The fountain jump almost killed Knievel and Travis is the
only one to jump the fountains with a bike that heavy.
I did watch and every aspect of his performances seemed almost perfect.
3 jumps of that magnitude in 1 day is amazing enough all by itself.
It is nice to see the Indian motorcycle come back.
Disclaimer--not something I would ever do and certainly don't encourage
anyone to get into motorcycle jumping!
